  • Childhood Poisoning Prevention Project (2004 to 2006)
  • The Childhood Poisoning Prevention Project – “Poisons Lock up and Away” focused on raising awareness of childhood poisoning prevention amongst parents and carers of children less than 5 years of age.

  • Home Safety Community Action Kit (2002)
  • This kit has since been revised and expanded and more information can be found in the “Publications” section of this website.

  • Hot Water Burns Like Fire – Hot Food & Drinks
  • The Hot Water Burns Like Fire Campaign focused on the prevention of Burns and Scalds from Hot Tap Water and Hot Food/ Drinks to children less than 5 years of age.

  • BabySafe Campaign (1997 to 1999)
  • The BabySafe project targeted pregnant women (and partners) attending antenatal classes and focused on injuries related to nursery furniture and child restraints. The Babysafe project then widened its scope during 1999 to include the entire state of Western Australia.
